New law on the procurement of environmentally-friendly commercial vehicles – Quantron AG offers a wide range of e-mobility solutions
For the first time, the EU’s Clean Vehicles Directive sets binding minimum targets for low-emission and zero-emission vehicles
From August 2, 2021 onwards, public transport services and municipal companies as well as certain players that are organized under private law must meet a minimum quota of vehicles with alternative drives when purchasing new vehicles. This mainly applies to heavy commercial vehicles such as garbage collection vehicles or public transport buses but also lighter road vehicles such as transporters for postal and parcel services.
Quantron AG offers a broad portfolio of emission-free vehicles ranging from 3.49 to 44 tons complete with fully electric, hybrid or, in future, hydrogen drive. The service spectrum offered by the e-mobility specialist includes new vehicles as well as the retrofitting of existing used and stock vehicles. In the area of heavy vehicles from 18 tons, for example, the Q-Econic is a garbage truck that has been successfully tested throughout Germany and impresses not only through its environmental friendliness but also with its low-noise mode of operation. In the light segment up to 7.2 tons, the Q-Light from QUANTRON offers numerous application options thanks to its flexible body variants. The transporter is available with both fully electric and hybrid drive.
