Head of Business Unit Sales Truck & Bus EMEA: Christoph Wede
“E-mobility, especially for commercial vehicles, is essential for a sustainable future. Quantron AG is definitely on the right track and is already showing what is possible through its broad spectrum. I´m looking forward to my future management tasks in the Business Unit Truck & Bus. One particular concern to me is to be able to implement a successful transformation from proven technology to new sustainable energy applications and, in the process, include the available resources,” said Christoph Wede. His career to date confirms his extensive competencies in the commercial vehicle business: 20 years of sales and management experience at Daimler AG, including over 10 years in the heavy truck sector. After working as a sales manager in the commercial vehicle centre of the Volkswagen subsidiary Schwaba GmbH in Augsburg (VGRD), he successfully led the dealer network development and control activities in southern Germany as District and Business Development Manager for IVECO Magirus AG. In addition, Christoph Wede expanded his expertise in the field of e-mobility as Director of Sales, Marketing & Service at the Munich start-up EVUM Motors GmbH.
Head of Aftersales EMEA: Claudio Matà
Quantron AG’s service strategy is the same for all of Europe. Through a network with more than 700 service locations across Europe and its own telematics solutions, Quantron AG wants to allow its customers to have problem-free use of its e-solutions 24/7 all year round. “With these prerequisites, we can offer our customers as well as workshop partners a service in this form that is unique in Europe. In order to maintain and expand the status quo, we are always looking ahead and planing the next steps”, reported Claudio Matà who is responsible for this business unit. His experience speaks for itself: he worked for OEM Iveco for over 14 years, among other things as Service Manager but also Aftersales as well as Customer Care & Technical Service Manager in various European countries. For the last six years, he worked for CNH Industrial in Germany, initially as Head of Sales Parts & Service Iveco Germany and most recently as Sales Director Aftermarket Solutions for the D-A-CH region and Ukraine in the agricultural and construction machinery sector.
